A colt was born!

A bay colt by FIORANO (PAPE stallion station) was born On April 13, 2010, at 2.30 am. He is obviously influenced by his grandsire ROUSSEAU and has a gorgeous face, a big-framed conformation and very long legs. We are convinced that he will mature into a stallion prospect.

Dam to this youngster is the approved WONDERLADY by Wonderful.

March 2010

Three mares covered and three are checked in-foal!!!

  • Wyona by Weltmeyer – Matcho AA (dam to DISAGGIO, Federal Champion in 2007), bred to SCOLARI by Sandro Hit (PAPE stallion station)

  • Donna Gloria by Don Bosco – Grundsee, bred to SAN BERNADINO by Sandro Hit (Celle National State Stud)

  • Collina by Contendro – Rio Branco (dam line of ESPRI FRH, CANSTAKKO), bred to GAVI by Graf Grannus (Baumgart service station). GAVI placed third at the Aachen Championships, and he won the Show Jumping World Cup in London under Helena Weinberg

If everything goes well, the foals will be born mid of February 2011.

Free Jumping Competition of the horse breeders clubs in the county of Rotenburg/Wümme

30 competitors, more than 100 competent spectators and a new venue that stood the test: Following the free jumping competition on the equestrian facilities of Stefan Blanken in Hepstedt, the three Hanoverian horse breeders clubs of the county of Rotenburg/Wümme (Zeven, Bremervörde, Rotenburg-Sottrum) look back on a positive turnout of the event.

Futurity prospects out of especially selected bloodline combinations with focus on sport won the two divisions. The breeding concept to breed performance-orientated sires to sound dam lines proved to be successful in the division of three-, but also in the division of four-year-old horses.

Style, scope and overall impressions are the criteria by which the competitors were judged. Philipp Baumgart (Verden) and Willi Brunckhorst (Wohlesbostel) acted as judges. And they had anything but an easy task to assign the marks – especially in the division of three-year-old horses – as not all competitors were perfectly fit due to the long winter. Most captivating horse and convincing winner with a final score of 23.8 points was a recently licensed bay stallion by Balou du Rouet/Carismo, exhibited by Fritz Tietjen (horse breeders club Rotenburg-Sottrum). Second ranked his stable colleague, a black gelding by Contendro I/Rhytmo (Patricia Sausmikat, horse breeders club Rotenburg-Sottrum). Third was a gelding by Converter/Graf Grannus (Michael Oetjen, horse breeders club Bremervörde). Matthias Bahr (horse breeders club Rotenburg-Sottrum) was happy about the fourth place of his chestnut mare by Castus I/Carprilli.

A bay mare by Contendro I/Grand Cru (Karin Kahrs, horse breeders club Bremervörde) won the division of four-year-old horses, followed by a grey mare by Cornet Obolensky/Perpignon (Hans-Heinrich Ehlen, horse breeders club Zeven). Another competitor from the Bremen area, a dark-brown El Bonito/Rhytmo-daughter, exhibited by Patricia Sausmikat, and a dark-brown mare by Calido/Calypso II, bred by Gerald Wiese (horse breeders club Rotenburg-Sottrum) shared third place.

The grey mare by Cornet Obolensky/Perpignon (exhibitor: Hans-Heinrich Ehlen, Heeslingen – breeder: Petra and Henry Budde, Kirchtimke) ranked second in the division of four-year-old horses.

Free Jumping Competition of the horse breeders’ clubs

It is the first time that the annual Free Jumping Competition of the horse breeders’ clubs in Rotenburg/Wümme (Bremervörde, Rotenburg, Zeven) will be held on our premises in Hepstedt on March 26, 2010.

We are happy to announce that the experienced show jumping riders and breeding experts Phillip Baumgart (Verden) and Willi Brunkhorst (Wohlesbostel) will be the judges. The event will start at 6.00 pm. Food and refreshments will be served!

Foals 2010:

Today on February 21, 2010, our Don Bosco-mare DONNA GLORIA gave birth to a bay filly by ROMANCIERO H (by Rohdiamand).

It is the sixth filly in her sixth breeding year – what an impressive series!! I always say: A top-class mare is twice as good as a stallion!!!

The first foal of the year was born on January 1, 2010, at 5.00 am.
It is a bay filly by BONIFATIUS out of WYONA by Weltmeyer – Matcho.

Wyona is also dam to DISAGGIO by De Niro (Federal Championships in 2007, breeder: Hermann Josef and Brigitte Becker, Troisdorf, www.hannoveranerstall.de) . He is now trained with Stall Brumme, Neumünster, to compete at St. Georg-level.
